Community Running & Sports Walking for Active Adults
glebmount.org LLC brings people together through 5K charity runs, power walking meetups, trail hiking adventures, and seasonal outdoor fitness festivals across parks throughout the United States.
How It Started
We're glebmount.org LLC, and we've built something special. What began as informal weekend walks in local parks has grown into a thriving community of adults aged 40-60 who are serious about fitness, friendship, and giving back.
Since we launched our first organized 5K charity run, we've connected hundreds of people who share a passion for outdoor activity and community service. That's not just numbers — that's real relationships built on shared goals.
The fitness landscape for adults in their 40s, 50s, and 60s felt disconnected. You'd find intimidating gym environments or solitary running routes. We saw an opportunity. We wanted to create something different — spaces where people could challenge themselves, meet others with similar interests, and actually enjoy the process.
What We Organize
glebmount.org LLC manages a range of events designed for adults who want to stay active, connected, and challenged.
5K Charity Runs
Timed events throughout the year that support local nonprofits. We've raised over $150,000 for community causes while helping participants achieve personal running goals.
Trail Hiking Groups
Regular guided hikes at various difficulty levels. We explore regional trails, share trail knowledge, and build a supportive community of outdoor enthusiasts.
Power Walking Meetups
Structured power walking sessions in local parks. We focus on proper technique, cardiovascular benefits, and the social experience of moving together.
Seasonal Fitness Festivals
Spring and fall festivals combining running, walking, hiking, and wellness activities. These bring our whole community together for a full day of outdoor fitness.
Local Park Events
We host activities across parks throughout the United States. From urban parks to regional hiking destinations, we bring fitness opportunities to where people live.
Community Wellness
Beyond the physical activity, we focus on building lasting friendships and creating a culture where adults over 40 feel welcomed, challenged, and supported.

"I wasn't sure about joining at first, honestly. I'd been out of running for years. But the first 5K was so well organized, and everyone was so welcoming. Now I'm training with a group I met there, and we're planning to run the charity event again this spring."
